| Description Leadership and Strategy · Develop short, medium, and long-term business objectives which are translated into effective, affordable, and achievable annual services plans, and establish corresponding KPIs which conform with or exceed established guidelines · Liaison with the Medical Director for planning and execution of resources, manpower budgeting, facilities, and quality, safety and risk management developments · Represent SMTH on various forums and develop and maintain productive relationships with all external partners and key stakeholders Operational & Performance Management · Develop and implement processes and control systems to monitor operational performance against KPIs and devise action plans to address areas of under-performance · Ensure Operations’ compliance with all patient experience, implementation policies, procedures and requirements · Ascertain predictive management systems are in place, to anticipate and manage opportunities and problems in service delivery · Manage collaborative operational relationships and networks with external health service providers to ensure a seamless patient experience · Coordinate and implement new or redesigned services to meet patients’ needs and raise standards of practice, productivity and value for money · Advise the Board on matters relating to the operational delivery of the hospital’s clinical and clinical support services Quality Management · Devise and implement a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) environment for services /operations in line with existing and future regulatory requirements · Support in the implementation of quality initiatives in Clinical Audit, Risk Management, Patients Complaints, Patient Focused Service Delivery and Patient Satisfaction | ||
