Finance Director - Pakistan/Dubai
The Company
Our client, a progressive and rapidly growing regional business, are looking to appoint a strong Finance Director to drive their business in Pakistan where they they hold a major market share in their niche. The role can either be based full time in Pakistan, or 15 days per month in Pakistan with a base in Dubai and the availability to travel back to the UAE at weekends.
The Role
The role will oversee all accounting, finance, tax and compliance for the business and key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process
- Assist in group wide budgetary planning
- Ensure that all of the company\'s financial practices are in line with local regulations and legislation
- Analyse market trends to assist in the strategic planning process
- Monitor and manage working capital
- Ensure the minimizing of financial risk
- Manage and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and external partners
- Update and implement financial policies and procedures
The Person
To apply for this position you must have international exposure, in terms of experience outside of Pakistan. You should also satisfy the following criteria.
- Chartered Accountant
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Prepared to spend a significant amount of time in Pakistan
