Position: “IT SERVICE ENGINEER – APPLICATION SUPPORT” Location: Karachi Sector/ Industry: Chemical Gender: Male Education: B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent degree Experience: 3 – 5 years in relevant field. Job role: 1 Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL server (Working Knowledge) 2 JBoss/Wildfly (Working knowledge in installation, deployment and troubleshooting) 3 Linux, Java/J2EE, Windows 4 Basic Network configurations • Working effectively with teams across geographically-distributed Centres of Excellence. • Providing clear and accessible technical information to senior management. • Ability to communicate and interact effectively on technical subject matter with non-specialists. • Troubleshoot DMS applications • Install, configure and implement applications (e.g. new versions from a CR) • Problem management of TRACE issues & Configure masterdata in TRACE • Collaborate with L3 resources (developers or Product owners) • This L2 role will exclude any development and modification of source code.
